To establish itself as the “Game Changer” of AIoT-Edge-Cloud continuum, NEMO (Next Generation Meta Operating System) will introduce an open source, flexible, adaptable, cybersecure and multi-technology meta-Operating System (mOS). To achieve technology maturity and massive adoption, NEMO will not “reinvent the wheel”, but leverage on existing systems, platforms, network/service interfaces and technologies, and introduce novel concepts, methods, tools, testing facilities and engagement campaigns to go beyond today’s state of the art, perform breakthrough research and create sustainable innovation, already evident within the project lifetime.
NEMO aims to unleash the power of AIoT in an IoT-to-edge-to-cloud continuum to increase European autonomy in data processing required by future AIoT and hyper-distributed applications.
